HISTORY

The architect bureau Van Acker & Partners was established in 1997 with headquarters in the Congreslaan in Ghent. Since then it grew into one of the most important bureaus of architects in Flanders. It also has an establishment in the western province of Belgium.

AVAPARTNERS forms, with its +/-25 highly qualified co-workers, a multi disciplinary design team.

The office is led by its 5 associates: Bernard Van Acker, Karin Hupperts, Mieke Goegebuer, Hans Van Bever and Nathalie Landrieu.

The office was nominated numerous times as laureate in several architecture contests and is active in different domains of architecture and urbanisation.
